Kids Club

The Kids Club continues to be run through North Tyneside Council Play Section and is attended by an average 30 - 40 children per session between the ages of 8 - 13 years on a Friday evening between 5:00pm - 7:00pm, several under 8's also come along, accompanied by a Parent.
The Kids Club has five qualified Playworkers who organise games both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting). This group also produce some great Art & Craft work, which is displayed on the walls to brighten up the Centre. Volunteers man the tuck shop on that night as well as helping out with Arts & Crafts.
Recently, the children worked with Community Artist Joe Hillier on a Hilltop Millennium Green Marker project when they learned to make model heads and hands out of plaster. There was some great work came out of those sessions and we had an awful lot of spice girl fans in the kids club. It certainly showed what smashing little artists we have in this community.
